Week 13

Compiling the WIP video

The majority of the work was finished at this point, just need to finish the production blog and put together the WIP video. The music for the WP video was also made using Suno AI, what a brilliant tool. I can easily get something similar to my expectations instead of delving into the internet and salvaging hours and hours for something that I could kinda work with.

Conclusion

I was extremely satisfied with the motion capture sequence I produced this semester. I learned a lot about Maya's time editor and Bifrost. Editing the motion data to make it more interesting was a lot of fun. I fell in love with Suno AI and will definitely use it in future projects whenever possible. It was a bit unfortunate that I couldn't get the cape simulation to work as I had envisioned, as I imagined it would be more visually striking. If I could redo this project, I would invest more effort into the plexus effect. Although it worked well, I would like to add more details, such as minor particle trails/spirals and possibly even a fire simulation on the limbs. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this project.
