Week 4

 Mocap session

Our group was one of the first to finish motion capturing. But we didn't have the time to do an in-depth rehearsal before the session. My lion dance performance was pretty much flawless, only taking around 20 minutes for 4 sets of motion. However, Aria and Yuki needed more time to brief Haoran (our performer) on the kind of motion they wanted. We did manage to get everything done with a couple minutes left on the clock. This shows the importance of a good rehearsal before heading into the capture session. Which we definitely will do in future projects.

Data clean up

The cleaning process went pretty smoothly with the data I'm working on. Mostly because the majority of the tracker was visible throughout the motion. I managed to finish the cleanup within one and a half hours. The first 30 minutes are dedicated to refamiliarizing Cortex. After that, it was a smooth sail along.
